It’s been four hundred and forty eight days
And it hasn’t gotten any easier, and even though the days are getting brighter, the nights are twice as dark yet half as long and although illuminated by stars, they’re no you
And I see you everywhere. Every flower petal and every ant and every gust of wind echoes your voice. I feel you in my lungs and strands of hair and fingernails and bones
What id give to have you here physically, and not have to be searching for remnants of you.. Laughing with me, guiding me and pushing me to be stronger and smarter and wiser..This is no poem, just a reminder that I miss you more than birds miss the summer, maybe that’s why they fly south
They can’t stand to spend another winter without you either.
